The craft is part of a family tradition from his Eperara Siapidara Indigenous community along Colombia’s Pacific Coast, where weaving knowledge has been passed from one generation to the next. Each bag is made by hand, giving every piece subtle variations that reflect the artisan’s touch and the natural character of the fiber.
