The name “Helecho,” meaning “fern” in Spanish, symbolizes new life and new beginnings in many Indigenous cultures. At Helecho, this spirit guides everything we do: fostering opportunity, nurturing creativity, and cultivating meaningful connections between artisans and clients.
We currently partner with over 35 talented artisans across Colombia — from bustling cities to remote villages — working together to preserve their heritage, elevate their craft, and share their exceptional creations with the world.

Our mission is to support their work as well as that of established designers who incorporate Colombia's artisan techniques in showcasing Colombia's rich culture and artistry, bringing it to life in the U.S. and beyond.
The Land
